Paul Gardner-Stephen received the bachelor’s and Doctoral degrees in computer science, and is currently a Senior Lecturer, a Shuttleworth Telecommunications Fellow, and a Mercator Fellow with Flinders University, Adelaide, Australia. For the past seven years, he has worked on the creation of resilient and humanitarian telecommunications solutions, with a particular emphasis on distributed and infrastructure-independent systems. He is a Co-Founder of the serval project, a disaster telecommunications project, and the MEGA65 security through simplicity and retro-computing initiative.
