Ashraf Hossain (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Tech. and M.Tech. degrees in radio physics and electronics from the Institute of Radio Physics and Electronics, University of Calcutta, Kolkata, India, in 2002 and 2004, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electronics and electrical communication engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, Kharagpur, India, in 2011.,He is currently working with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, National Institute of Technology Silchar, Silchar, India, as an Assistant Professor. He served the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Aliah University, Kolkata, and Haldia Institute of Technology, Haldia, India, as an Assistant Professor. His research interests include wireless sensor network, communication theory and systems, wireless network, and cognitive radio.,Dr. Hossain is a member of IE, India.
